GENRE:  Contemporary erotic romance, LGBT

The Reunion
Gil Davis hated high school. Ever the geek, he has no intentions of attending his 10th year class reunion. The last thing he wants is to relive the taunting and teasing he received during his teenage years. However there is one thing he misses from high school: the star Varsity football player. The one he had a crush on from the first day he laid eyes on him. But the last thing he expects is the now pro football player to come back to their home town to attend a lame high school reunion. Known as the Bad Boy of the NFL, Ripley “Rip” Cord, not only shows up, but shows up without a date and an eye for Gil.

The Weekend
Geek extraordinaire Gil Davis hooked up with his long-time crush Rip Cord, the Bad Boy of the NFL, during their tenth year class reunion. It was a dream come true for Gil, so when Rip surprises Gil with a trip to the pro football player’s cabin on the lake two weeks later, Gil looks forward to their weekend alone. Since Rip is still deep in the closet due to his career, Gil will take any stolen moments they have. Little does Gil know, those moments will be filled with a blindfold and ropes, as well as a bad tumble down the mountain.

But a few bumps and bruises won’t stop Gil from spending precious time with Rip and his toys. However when the weekend ends, will Rip disappear again? Or will Rip want to take their relationship to the next level?

Excerpt Three:

“Relax. Trust me.” The bed tilted under Rip’s weight as he climbed on and straddled Gil’s waist.

“I want to give you a massage. It’ll help with your stiff muscles.”

Rip squirted what felt similar to baby oil onto Gil’s back, and as he rubbed it into his skin, Gil relaxed. Rip’s hands were perfect for a massage. They were broad and his fingers were long and strong.

Gil groaned in pleasure as Rip swirled the oil around his back, warming it up as he worked the skin under his palms. He massaged Gil’s shoulders with his thumbs and then the base of his neck, the top of his spine, and down the tight muscles that ran along his spine.

Gil’s breathing deepened, and he closed his eyes, enjoying the feel of his muscles being rubbed, Rip working the small of his back with his knuckles.

“How do you know to do this so well?”

“I get massages all the time because of football. Some are relaxing, but I pay attention to what the therapists are doing too. Though when it’s a deep-tissue massage, I’m usually holding back the screams. The therapists dig and work out knots, which can be very painful. Still, it’s worth it afterward.”

“No deep tissue, okay?”

Rip’s body shook as he chuckled. “No deep tissue today. But I can feel how tight the small of your back is.” He shifted down to straddle Gil’s thighs.

I just gotta say that I don't read M/M but I really did like this one.  If I had a complaint it's that it just ended.  I want the 3rd book.  This one had an HFN? and I feel as if Gil needs to be a little stronger in his conversations with Rip.  It seemed like Rip just took over the relationship and Gil had no say in anything.

I did love how they reconnected.  Plus, with Gil's friend Kate, there, the reunion was sweet and funny.  To have a crush like that for so long and then to be able to act on the crush...sweet and highly sexy.  Oh yes, this book is chopped full of many sexy times.  I really was hoping that Rip would give in to...  Oops, sorry almost gave away a spoiler.  He He!

Gil and Rip are a great couple but I felt like it was all Rip all the time and I felt like Gil was only there to satisfy Rip's cravings.  Not that Gil didn't have his own cravings but a bit more conversation from Gil and how HE wanted things to go would have been nice.

Overall, if you are looking for a quick, sexy M/M with a totally alpha in the deepest closet football player and a sexy nerd, this book is for you.  Just remember that I felt like there should be another book to finish their story.  Totally recommended.  :)
